Escort the Wall - The Veterans Tribute Rally's "Ride-to-the-Wall" starts at GI Joe's Sporting Goods at 13902 East Indiana Avenue (near the intersection of Indiana & Evergreen) in Spokane Valley, WA -- at the Evergreen exit off Interstate 90. Meet and gather time is 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Following brief presentations from local and visiting dignitaries, 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM, participants will depart GI Joe's parking lot and take the I-90 freeway west through Spokane, WA. Kickstands up (KSU) at 12:00 Noon (B) Arrive Ritzville, WA at 2:00 PM KSU (depart) Ritzville at 3:00 PM Though spectators, the media and others are expected to line the roadway and overpasses through Spokane, the ride will not stop again until it arrives in Ritzville, WA. Ritzville has been selected as the one stop in route to Moses Lake, WA where participants who did not join the Escort at GI Joe's in the Spokane Valley can do so in Ritzville. From the East or West, Exit 220 on Interstate 90 will take you to 1st Street. We've raised over $800 towards marble slabs. (not yet purchased) Memorial site will be constructed in Steptoe, WA to honor our friends who have passed away.
